I started 1st grade at Gateway Elementary School, then I finished 1st grade and started 2nd grade at Mallinckrodt Elementary. I very specifically remember ELA because on Febuary 14th our teacher retired and we were left with a subsitute for the rest of the year. This subsitute was the WORST, I mean that, this subsitute singlehandedly made me hate ELA for the next several years of my life.
For middle school I went to McKinley because my brother went to McKinley and my parents were tired of driving to two different schools to pick up their kids. The band teacher there had a bad reputation so I took choir for my musical credit and actually got pretty good at singing. There was also this kid who would bully me but I never realized I was being bullied until after I graduated. Otherwise middle school was pretty uneventful.
Currently I go to Gateway High School, the only reason I'm on this website is because of the one year where all the Soldan students and teachers were in the Gateway building. I don't have any stories about this place yet, but I have noted that they keep doing construction on the gym? Ever since the end of my fisrt year they've been doing construction on the gym, and it's not the same construction either, they'll finish doing construction on the gym and then by the next school year they've started more construction on the gym. What are they building???
